I stayed in the garden room and it was a wonderful surprise. i will definitely book the same room again. the food was excellent too. the staff were very friendly and helpful. They are a credit to the hotel.

The room had a big, nice terrace. Breakfast was perfect at the restaurant. Valet parking cost 45 quid. The nearby car park costs 30, so it's worth it. The concierge on the front desk was a great help and a true yorkshireman. He helped with the car and bags.
The bar could have had more staff available for quicker service.

the location was great. i could walk to many shops and restaurants. the room was also lovely. the staff were super sweet and always ready to help.
i felt the hotel wasn't quite a 5-star experience. while the beds were comfortable and the room was clean , the finishing touches seemed more like a 4-star. i expected a coffee machine , not just sachets of cheap coffee. the toiletries were not full-sized .
